Traditional Kung Fu is used to strengthen the body, improve flexibility, body balance and weight transfer. It can be of great benefit as a starting point for those beginning their training as it builds a good foundation, making any further learning in other areas easier. Through low stances the legs are strengthened and dynamic body movements in form develop co-ordination. Though this system was originally used for a variety of purposes including combat, it is used in training now to understand your body, build your abilities & help developfighting skills more easily when learning. Traditional Kung Fu’s powerful movements develop the core martial art functions and ranges of movement that are necessary in order to optimize many of the martial artistry that the Master Wong System teaches. Training in the system includes basic hand and feet work which will be enhanced to further and more complex levels of movement, which culminate to produce the traditional forms available in this course.
